Program Description
Right Hand is an AI-powered business operations platform for independent trade contractors (plumbers, electricians, HVAC technicians, general contractors, roofers, and others). This page describes how Right Hand uses SMS/MMS messaging, who receives messages, how consent is obtained, and how to opt out.
Who Receives Messages
Right Hand sends two categories of SMS/MMS messages:
1. Contractors (Platform Users)
Trade contractors who sign up at textrighthand.com/onboarding provide their mobile number and check an explicit consent box during registration. They receive job alerts, daily summaries, draft reply notifications, invoice confirmations, and platform notifications related to their account.
2. End Customers (GCs & Homeowners)
General contractors and homeowners who text a contractor's Right Hand business number first initiate the conversation and thereby consent to receive AI-assisted SMS replies related to their job inquiry. Right Hand does not send unsolicited messages to end customers.
How Contractors Opt In
Contractors opt in during account creation at textrighthand.com/onboarding. On the step that collects their mobile number, the following consent checkbox is displayed directly below the phone field:
I agree to receive automated and AI-assisted SMS text messages from Right Hand (Austin Santee Consulting LLC) at the number provided, including job requests, scheduling and appointment updates, invoice notifications, and daily summaries. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy and SMS Terms. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
The checkbox is unchecked by default and must be actively checked to opt in. Consent is optional and is not a condition of signup — contractors who decline simply receive no SMS notifications, and can opt in later from account settings.
Message Types
- ·Job booking confirmations and scheduling updates
- ·Invoice sent and payment received notifications
- ·Proposal accepted alerts
- ·Daily morning summary of scheduled jobs and active pipeline
- ·Weekly recap of jobs booked, revenue invoiced, and items needing attention
- ·Draft reply notifications (in draft mode) requiring contractor approval
- ·Emergency alerts for high-priority customer inquiries
- ·Calendar sync failure alerts
- ·Platform and account notifications
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on job volume and account activity. Contractors typically receive 2–20 messages per day. End customers typically receive 1–3 messages per job inquiry.

Rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan. Right Hand does not charge per-message fees to contractors beyond the platform subscription.
Opt-Out Instructions
To stop all messages: Reply STOP to any message. One confirmation will be sent and no further messages will be delivered. This is honored immediately and permanently.
To get help: Reply HELP to receive our support contact information.
To restart messages: Reply START at any time to resume receiving messages.
Privacy & Data Sharing
No mobile information or SMS opt-in/consent data will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Right Hand does not sell, rent, lease, or share phone numbers or opt-in consent data with any third party for marketing purposes.
