1. Who We Are

Right Hand ("we," "our," or "us") is an AI-powered business operations platform for independent trade contractors. We provide SMS-based job dispatch, scheduling, and invoicing services. Our contact email is support@textrighthand.com.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: Name, email address, business name, trade type, and phone number when you register.
SMS messages: Inbound and outbound text messages sent through your Right Hand phone number, including message content, timestamps, and phone numbers.
Contact information: Phone numbers and names of people who text your Right Hand number (your clients and GCs).
Job and invoice data: Job descriptions, pipeline stages, invoice amounts, and payment records you create or that are created automatically by the system.
Usage data: How you interact with the Right Hand dashboard and services.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide, operate, and improve the Right Hand platform.
To process and route SMS messages through your business number.
To generate AI-assisted replies using Google Gemini (message content is sent to Google's API for processing).
To create and manage job records, invoices, and contacts on your behalf.
To send you platform notifications and alerts (e.g., token expiry warnings).
To comply with legal obligations.

4. SMS Messaging — Important Disclosures

Right Hand operates an SMS program that sends automated and AI-assisted text messages on behalf of contractors who use our platform.

Opt-in:Contacts (GCs, homeowners, clients) begin receiving messages by initiating contact with a contractor's Right Hand number. By texting that number, they consent to receive SMS replies related to their job inquiry.

Opt-out: Any contact may reply STOP at any time. They will receive one final confirmation message and will not receive further messages. This is honored immediately and permanently.

HELP: Contacts may reply HELP to receive support contact information.

Message frequency: Varies. Typically 1–3 messages per job inquiry.

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.

We do not sell, rent, lease, or share phone numbers or contact information with any third parties for marketing purposes.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as follows:

Twilio:SMS delivery and phone number provisioning. Message content and phone numbers are transmitted through Twilio's infrastructure.
Google (Gemini API):Inbound message content is sent to Google's Gemini API for AI classification and reply generation. Messages are processed per Google's API terms.
Supabase: All data is stored in a Supabase PostgreSQL database with row-level security.
Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Right Hand, our users, or others.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data and message history for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at support@textrighthand.com.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data storage, row-level security on our database, and HTTPS-only communication. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email support@textrighthand.com.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent changes. Continued use of Right Hand after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
