1. Who We Are
Right Hand is a product of Austin Santee Consulting LLC ("we," "our," or "us"), an AI-powered business operations platform for independent trade contractors, operated from California. We provide SMS-based job dispatch, scheduling, invoicing, and related services accessible at textrighthand.com. Our contact email is support@textrighthand.com.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information: Name, business name, trade type, email address, and phone number provided during registration.
- SMS messages and MMS media: All inbound and outbound text messages — including message content, timestamps, phone numbers, and any images or media (MMS) sent to your Right Hand number. Images are transmitted to Google's Gemini API for AI analysis and are not stored beyond what is necessary to log the message.
- Contact information: Names and phone numbers of clients, GCs, and homeowners who text your Right Hand number.
- Job and financial data: Job descriptions, addresses, pipeline stages, invoice amounts, payment records, and proposal content.
- Integration data: OAuth tokens and account identifiers for connected services (QuickBooks, Google Calendar, Stripe). We do not store passwords for any third-party service.
- Usage data: Dashboard interactions, feature usage, and error logs used to operate and improve the platform.
- Device and technical data: IP address, browser type, and cookie identifiers when you access our web dashboard.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Right Hand platform.
- To route and process SMS/MMS messages through your dedicated business number.
- To generate AI-assisted replies using Google Gemini (message content and images are transmitted to Google's API).
- To create, manage, and track jobs, invoices, proposals, and contacts on your behalf.
- To sync data with connected third-party services (QuickBooks, Google Calendar, Stripe) when you authorize them.
- To send system alerts, draft notifications, and daily summaries to your phone.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service.
- To comply with applicable laws and legal process.
4. SMS and MMS Messaging — Required Disclosures
Right Hand operates an A2P 10DLC registered SMS/MMS program that sends automated and AI-assisted messages on behalf of contractors who use the platform.
Opt-in: Contractors opt in during signup at textrighthand.com/onboarding by entering their mobile number and checking a consent box agreeing to receive job, scheduling, invoicing, and summary messages. Their contacts (clients, GCs, homeowners) begin receiving messages by initiating contact with the contractor's Right Hand number; by texting that number, they consent to receive automated SMS replies related to their job inquiry.
Opt-out: Any contact may reply STOP at any time. One confirmation is sent and no further messages will be delivered. This is honored immediately and permanently.
HELP: Reply HELP to receive our support contact information.
Message frequency: Varies based on job inquiry volume. Typically 1–3 messages per job inquiry for contacts; 2–20 messages per day for contractors.
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
No mobile information or SMS opt-in/consent data will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
We do not sell, rent, lease, or share phone numbers or message content with any third party for marketing purposes. Ever.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as necessary to operate the service:
- Twilio: SMS/MMS delivery, phone number provisioning, and voice transcription. Message content, media, and phone numbers are transmitted through Twilio's infrastructure subject to Twilio's privacy policy.
- Google (Gemini API): Inbound message text and MMS images are sent to Google's Gemini API for AI classification and reply generation, subject to Google's API usage policies.
- Supabase: All account, job, message, and contact data is stored in a Supabase PostgreSQL database with row-level security and encryption at rest.
- Stripe: Payment processing for subscriptions and invoice payments via Stripe Connect. We share only what is necessary to process a transaction.
- Intuit (QuickBooks): If connected, invoice and customer data is synced to your QuickBooks account. We do not access data beyond what you authorize.
- Google Calendar: If connected, job scheduling data is synced to your Google Calendar account per your authorization.
- Legal process: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Right Hand, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user data may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the same privacy protections.
6. Data Retention
We retain account data, message history, and job records for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. MMS images are not stored beyond what is necessary to log the message exchange. Upon account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, financial records).

7. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS-only communication, encrypted data storage, row-level database security, and restricted access controls. Third-party integrations use official OAuth flows — we never store your third-party passwords. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
8. Cookies and Tracking
Our web dashboard uses session cookies to maintain your login state. We do not use third-party advertising trackers or sell cookie data. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect dashboard functionality.
9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
- Right to know what personal information we collect, use, and share.
- Right to delete personal information we have collected, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.

10. Children's Privacy
Right Hand is intended for use by business owners and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
11. Your Rights and Choices
You may access, correct, export, or delete the personal information associated with your account at any time by emailing support@textrighthand.com. We will respond within 30 days.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. For material changes, we will notify registered contractors via email or in-app notice at least 7 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of Right Hand after that date constitutes acceptance.
